Our Rooms

Our rooms are all stand-alone and are merely metres from the restaurant, car park, and gardens. Church Hill is a 5 minute walk from the Oban township, ferry terminal and flight centre.

Our rooms have views of the bay and beyond and face the sunrise for the perfect wakeup call. Surrounded by the native bush of the Church Hill site the birds are only an arms length away. Many visitors to the Island come for the bird life and from your room you will be able to get some great photographs without getting out of your pyjamas or possibly, even out of bed.

Our Foveaux room has a wood fired hot tub available for the use of guests staying in Foveaux. Set within the bush it is accessible directly from the balcony of the room. We provide towels and firewood so you can simply relax and enjoy.

The rooms will meet your needs offering:

Sky TV and DVD, Wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities, non-alcoholic refreshments, home baking, in room lounging and more...

Church Hill lodge rooms are non-smoking.

Breakfast is included in the tariff and options range from fully cooked to fruit and cereals.

Guest laundry and drying room:

We have a purpose built facility for the guests to use during their stay. It is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, ironing station and tub. We provide all the cleaning agents you will require. Guests are welcome to freshen up their traveling apparel or to dry out the clothing they have been using on their days exploring.

We have also stocked the laundry with beach towels. If you fancy a day at the beach then simply grab a towel and when you return place it in the basket; we will do the rest.

Our three rooms are:

Foveaux - named for it's view into Foveaux Strait with a private outdoor area with a wood fired hot tub

Kamahi - so called as it has Kamahi trees right in front, and we are on Kamahi Road

Tokoeka - the Maori name for the Rakiura kiwi, this room is themed to represent the fauna of the Island
